Hey Reader, I hope you’re good wherever you are and whatever you’re doing. I can't believe it but I just turned over my calendar to December and it’s well and truly the season of shorter days and darker nights. I’m not gonna lie…there’s something about this time of year that just gets me feeling so cozy. So, it feels like it’s been a minute since I’ve popped into your email inbox. A lot has been going on here behind the scenes both personally and professionally and I wanted to update you a little on the latter. If you’re here, you probably know how passionate I am about helping folks with ADHD navigate their world and truly find their own unique solutions to the things they struggle most with. You probably also know how especially committed I am to helping people navigate the one thing that over 70% of ADHDers struggle with-emotional dysregulation and RSD. Well, none of this has changed and I'm still ever committed BUT…. I’ve come to a realization and it’s this: as I’ve been unmasking and learning more about who I am, I have come to the realization that not only does my passion lie with working with folks like you and me (you know, the adult kinda folks) but it also lies with young people and their families. I’ve spent the last 15 years of my life working with these very people in different but related capacities and I’ve absolutely loved it so it only makes sense that I extend my services to them. All this to say, I’m announcing that I have created more services specifically for ADHD kiddos and kiddos with learning disabilities and their families. I’m super excited with what I’ve come up with and I wanted to let you in on this change or should I say-BONUS to my offerings! So, if you’re someone who has a young person or persons in their life that might be looking for ADHD and executive function support or even study skills support (which closely ties in with ADHD and EF skills), please visit my sister website; www.michellemcintosh.ca What you’ll find there is a host of options available as a parent/guardian of a kiddo with learning disabilities including dyslexia and ADHD. This addition is really no surprise to anyone who knows me well and I’m clearly late to the party myself but I’m glad I’ve arrived here and I’m excited to be also helping kids and their families create lives that feel balanced and align with who they are and how they want to show up in the world. SOOOO, if this is something that peaks your interest for a young person in your life, come visit me over at www.michellemcintosh.ca. And, over there, I'm offering a free Parent's Guide to ADHD & Literacy. You can also join my mailing list, The Learning Lab, to get news updates and more geared towards kiddos and their families. Anyway, I just wanted to update you all on what's happening over here. Basically, I'm here for you and for the young people in your life. What about you? Hit reply to this email to fill me in on what's happening your way! I can't wait to hear from you! Till next time,

Hey there, Reader! It's been a minute, hasn’t it? How have you been doing? I can’t believe how quickly this month has flown by. Seriously, it feels like I blinked, and suddenly, the cooler weather is creeping in. I find myself daydreaming about all things winter - cozy blankets and hot chocolate which is wild, right? And it seems like I’m not the only one thinking about the holidays early this year—I was in Costco the other day, and guess what? Holiday stuff was on full display front and...
Hey Reader, If I could listen to your thoughts right now, what do you think I’d hear? Living with ADHD can make it ridiculously easy to beat ourselves up for not fitting in, not being "normal," and a whole lot of other stuff. If you could peek into my brain, you’d definitely hear a whole lot of self-criticism and some not-so-flattering chatter happening at full volume. Isn’t it wild how quickly our brains can jump to that self-judgment? If your mind is anything like mine, just remember:...
Hey Reader, I hope this email finds you in a good place—or at least a place where you've been able to find moments of peace amidst the end of summer/beginning of September chaos. For me, it's been a week of holidays, getting super sick and just feeling overwhelmed by all the things that I scheduled out for myself in the Fall and worrying that I've overcommitted myself. Is it just me? So, suffice it to say that lately, I've been feeling all the ADHD things and just sitting in them feeling...
